The electrostatic fieldmeter is a non-contact portable electrostatic fieldmeter. The measurable range is +/-20KV (working distance is 1 inch, 25mm). It is equipped with 2 LED lights to ensure 25mm away from the measured object during measurement. The housing is made of anti-static material and has a grounding buckle to ensure reliable measurement results. The tester is also equipped with an ion balance measurement board for periodic calibration of ion balance in the ±200V range.
It is mainly used to measure the electrostatic properties of textile raw materials and finished products (including fiber, yarn, fabric, carpet, decorative fabric) under laboratory conditions. It can also be used to measure the electrostatic properties of other sheets and plate materials such as paper, rubber, plastics, composite sheets, etc. The main unit of the instrument consists of corona discharge device, probe and detection system. Using a given high-voltage electric field, the test sample is periodically discharged to induce static electricity in the sample, thereby, the electrostatic capacity, the electrostatic voltage and the electrostatic residue are detected to determine the electrostatic properties of the tested sample.
